Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Bundesrepublik Deutschland...is the slogan of the thousands of german supporters in South Africa today. But here is not the end, crores of football lovers across the world are hoping for the next grand victory of Germany in the 19th World Cup again today. Today Germany will play against Serbia, another European country. It is going to be a match of tension, claimed the Serbian coach Radomir Antic as his team is going to meet one of the hot favourites of the World Cup, whereas German coach Joachim Loew is confident enough to bag his team's next victory today.
Loew as well as the Germans have already believed that Mesut Ozil would rise as one of the grand figures in this FIFA World Cup. In the last match against Australia, Ozil made some brilliant passes to Klose and Cacau, from which the latter scored the fourth goal. Philipp Lahm, the youngest ever captain of Germany has already shown his excellence in covering the left wing of the team. Ballack, who cannot play in this world cup due to his injury, is also hopeful of his country. Manuel Neuer, the German goalie proved himself deserved in the previous match by saving some deadly shots from Australian strikers.
The German trio - Thomas Muller, Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose will certainly put Serbia to the sword today. Klose, who is found in No 11 German jersey, needs just four goals to reach the former Brazilian striker Ronaldo, who is still the highest scrorer in the FIFA World Cups. Germans have won the world cup three times till now. It won the last in 1990 against Argentina. It ended up runners in 2002 and lost to Italy in the semi final in 2006. But this time, Germany is full of young blood. Apart from three players, all are in their early twenties. Therefore, these young germans would certainly gift some wonders to the football lovers across the world. Cheers for Germany.
