Dirt bikers leave Gurgaonites spellbound

Gurgaonites had a perfect weekend as a team of international dirt bikers entertained them with their death-defying stunts at Leisure Valley Grounds.

West Indies floors India on day one of third Test match

INDIA HAS had a tough day against the West Indies on the first day of the Test match at Mumbai. West Indies won an important toss and decided to bat. They put their defeat on the back of the minds, as they came up with a splendid batting display to finish the day at 267 for the loss of two wickets, when the bails were dislodged by the umpires signalling the end of days play. Gurgaon, Faridabad to get city bus service soon

Giving a new hope to commuters, particularly to the intra-city travellers in Faridabad and Gurgaon, the Haryana Transport Department has proposed to run 100 buses in Gurgaon and another 150 in Faridabad.

THE PROPOSAL has also met with approval from the chief minister and it is likely that this plan would be implemented in the coming year. The transport department also plans to hire 250 drivers and the same number of conductors for running the service in Gurgaon. To serve Faridabad, the department plans to hire 350 drivers and conductors each on contractual basis. Read Full Story..
