2011 Round-up: 10 events that shook India

1) LOKPAL BILL Agitation: On April 5, social activist

Anna Hazare started an indefinite strike at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to demand the passing of the Jan Lokpal Bill. Across the nation thousands of people supported Anna Hazare for the Jan Lokpal Bill. His fast ended on April 9 after the government accepted his demand.
