Delhi Daredevils IPL Matches are in huge demand

For fourth edition of the Indian Premier League Delhi Daredevils (home) Delhi match tickets are in huge demand after the victory in the world cup 2011. IPL tickets for weekdays matches are marginally cheaper than the ones for weekend games.

IPL tickets are available in various ranges from Rs 300 onwards on weekdays and Rs 500 on the weekends. Tickets can be bought online from Kyazoonga and book my show like sites. They are also available at selected ING Vysya branches and  in more than 70 selected Easybill outlets in the NCR region and in seven outlets of Fast Trax.

Delhi Daredevils will play their opening match against Mumbai Indians on April 10 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Delhi.

Rajasthan Royals new Jersey unveiled for IPL 4

Rajasthan Royals launched their teams new jersey in the presence of  Shane Warne and Rahul Dravid for the Indian Premier League 2011 starting on April 8. Floriana Group and HDFC Life are the team sponsors for the Royals. RR

Shilpa Shetty Kundra, co-owner of Rajasthan Royals, with Warne and Dravid unveiled the jersey and presented it to Floriana Group chairman Sanjay Jain and Marketing and Direct Sales head HDFC life Sanjay Tripathi. Royals official kit partner PUMA designed this year's jersey. Rajasthan Royals to play their first match on April 9 in Hyderabad and the first home game in Jaipur on April 12 against Delhi Daredevils.

Shane Warne said "We are looking stronger and better than ever before. We have the right blend of power, grit, youth, and experience, and we are ready to take the competition head-on. We have promising youngsters in India under-19 Ashok Meenaria and few others and i hope they play true to their potential".

Daniel Vettori to challenge from Royal Challengers side in IPL

New Zealand player and skipper Daniel Vettori will lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the fourth season of the Indian Premier League 2011.

Vijay Mallya said, Vettori is a experienced and respected leader and we hope to  succeed in IPL  2011.Vettori is a respected professional not only within his team but amongst his international peers as well.

Vettori led New Zealand team to the ICC World Cup 2011 semifinals where before lost to Sri Lanka.Earlier Indian Test captain Anil Kumble led the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the second and third season of the IPL. Kumble, who is president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), is the chief mentor of the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Kumar Sangakkara wiil lead Deccan Chargers in IPL 2011

Sri Lankan and Cricket world cup 2011 runner up skipper Kumar Sangakkara will lead the Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League fourth edition. Cameron White, Australian all- round cricketer will be the wise caption in the IPL Twenty20 tournament starting April 8.

Deccan Chargers had tasted the victory in the IPL 2 under leadership of Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist in 2009 in South Africa.Now Gilchrist has been moved to Kings XI Punjab for the IPL fourth season.

Sangakkara as Deccan Chargers skipper was announced at a promotional event of the franchise.

Delhi Daredevil’s Irfan Pathan to make come back from IPL

Irfan Pathan was once the emerging as lead bowler of Indian cricket team. After a spate of injuries laid down the Baroda allrounder lost his place in the national team.Irfan brings a couple of aspects to the table with his batting and bowling prowess and remains one of the most experienced Indian players after skipper Virender Sehwag.

Nokia has announced of its association with the Kolkata Knight Riders  again for the IPL season 4. Nokia will be the principal sponsor of the Kolkata team. Nokia India and KKR team has also announced a motivational consumer campaign -- 'KKR Tension Mat Le Yaar', for KKR fans to interact and engage with their favourite team.

The campaign will make extensive use of the digital and mobile technology to enable KKR fans to interact and share with the KKR team on both, match and off-match days.

Shahrukh Khan told it an innovative way to involve cricket enthusiasts and KKR fans across the country to be a part of the IPL cricket action.
