Delhi Daredevil’s Irfan Pathan to make come back from IPL

Irfan Pathan was once the emerging as lead bowler of Indian cricket team. After a spate of injuries laid down the Baroda allrounder lost his place in the national team.Irfan brings a couple of aspects to the table with his batting and bowling prowess and remains one of the most experienced Indian players after skipper Virender Sehwag.

Now Irfan Pathan is to play from Delhi Daredevils in IPL 4 season. Delhi Daredevils franchise bid $1.9 million on the Baroda allrounder in the IPL 4 auction earlier this year.” IPL is a platform for me to stage a comeback into the Indian team. I am itching to play for India again and the desire is probably much more than what it was at the age of 19," he quoted.

Last 3 seasons of IPL witnessed Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra and Dinesh Karthik playing for Daredevils. Now Delhi has a very young team, Irfan will have to play the role of a mentor for them.
