Nokia launched its Symbian 3 OS based smartphone, Nokia C7 at the Nokia World Event. With the launch of Nokia C7, Nokia has taken its smartphone market to a whole level and the company seems to enjoy the top gear thanks to the Symbian 3 platform which is a world leader in OS systems.
Nokia C7 combines stainless steel and glass in a sleek, full-touch design. Its 3.5 inch AMOLED display is ideal for networking. It allows updates from Facebook and Twitter fed directly to the home screen, as well as one touch access to many popular email accounts including OVI Mail, Yahoo Mail and Windows Live(TM) Hotmail. Nokia C7 also supports a world of applications, games, videos, and web and location-based services through the OVI Store.
Nokia C7 is Nokia's second smartphone based on the new version of Symbian after Nokia N8. Nokia N8 shipping already started earlier this month. Nokia C7 brings excellent social networking abilities, making it perfect for people checking-in and stay up to date. Nokia C7 is priced at an estimated 335 Euro (excluding applicable taxes or subsidies), with pricing and availability varying from region to region, operator to operator.
Nokia C7 is just 130 g with internal 8 GB storage, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM. It supports 3G at HSDPA10.2 mbps and HSUPA, 2 mbps. Nokia C7 also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,USB has 8 MP fixed focus, dual-LED flash camera with video stabilization. Nokia C7 is available in India for Rs.16,000.
