RETAILERS ARE now getting ready to attract customers for the biggest shopping day of the year in the United States, the Black Friday 2010, which is falling on November 26th. More than 100 million shoppers in the United States participate in the Black Friday shopping rush to avail the year’s most popular discount shopping event.
Amazon’s electronics department will offer sales deals on electronics, including Blu-ray players, high-definition television sets and video games, every Friday till Thanksgiving. Target will offer deals on more than 170 items, which will start as pre-Thanksgiving four-day sale from Sunday, November 21.
Sears Department Stores began the Black Friday sales this Friday called "Black Friday Now." Borders started discount season on two of its electronic readers with a $30 discount through October 31. Walmart's Toy Book sale will start from November 7 and it will continue till November 24.
The retailer Kohls has just announced its pre-Black Friday offers for the weekend starting from November 5th. They are offering 56% off on Chaps cable-knit V-neck women's sweaters and 55% off on merino sweaters for men. Kohls also offering 20% - 50% off on kitchen appliances like toasters, blenders and griddles and up to 20% off on entire stock of toys.
Every year Walmart, Amazon, E-bay, Target, Toys R Us, True Value, Sears, Best Buy, Babies R Us, KMart are among the hundreds of retailers, who offer the best deals of the year on Black Friday.
