About 3.5 million people to witness Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010

THANKSGIVING DAY in the United States is just here. Every year Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Tuesday of November. The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the United States is the second-oldest Thanksgiving parade.
The 84th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will kick off on Thursday, November 25 in New York from morning 9 at 77th Street & Central Park West and the Thanksgiving Parade will make its final turn west marching in front of Macy's Herald Square. It is expected that more than 3.5 million people will witness the parade from the streets of New York.

This year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010 the balloons feature include Buzz Lightyear, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kung Fu Panda, Snoopy, Pikachu, Kermit the Frog, Shrek, Spongebob SquarePants and more. According to the Macy's official site, Macy's Balloon inflation takes place the day before the parade on 77th and 81st Streets between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. Public viewing is from 3 pm to 10 pm.

Some of the live musical acts scheduled to perform during the Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010, which include Arlo Guthrie, Gladys Knight, Jessica Simpson, Kanye West, Macy Gray, etc. A number of marching bands and other performers will also in the parade.

During the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010, general public will have limited access on the east side of Central park West from 59th Streets due to private viewing grandstands in the area. the best public viewing along Central Park West is available on the west side of the street.
